Where Will You Party in Quezon City?

A shopper’s haven by day, Quezon City really comes into its own once night falls, and as Metro Manila’s main university town, it buzzes with a youthful exuberance. It is also a surprisingly green city with ample opportunity to find respite from the fast-paced intensity of urban life, while cultural landmarks such as wartime memorials and centuries-old churches dot the contemporary skyline.

Quezon City’s nightlife scene mostly revolves around the three main entertainment hubs of Timog Avenue, Cubao and Eastwood City, which deliver more drinks, pumping bass and packed dance floors than a Pitbull music video. At HotelsCombined, we find that travellers tend to prefer hotels close to all the nocturnal action and nearby shopping. Featuring an array of accommodation options, from 5-star luxury to comfortable budget hotels, the perfect stay is just a click away whether travelling solo, as a couple or in a group.

  1. It’s true that you’ll never run out of things to do in this city. I’ve enjoyed numerous after-work-Fridays here. The Distillery & Rue Bourbon in Eastwood is one of our faves. Then we’d nurse our “hangovers” by eating good food at Something Fishy.

If you’re a tourist and your itinerary consists of visiting the Metro as well as the beaches in North Luzon, it’s best to stay for a couple of nights in Quezon City. Apart from the parties, QC is also known for good food and cafes for just chilling out. Around Timog Avenue and Tomas Morato, you can find restaurants and pubs (check out Barley Gastropub). A few kilometers away from Timog Avenue is Maginhawa Street, a strip of unique cafes that will bring out the foodie in you—try The Sweet Spot, Nook, and Cool Beans Library Cafe.
In Eastwood & Cubao, occasionally there are shopping bazaars in the park where items are locally made and inexpensive. You can also find good Filipino street food in bazaars.

Filipinos love to party and this city is indeed most vibrant and fun on weekends. Enjoy QC!
