  1. I’ve visited Vienna in the summer with my family about 3 years ago. We stayed at Exclusive B&B for about €150/night and where we had a great breakfast in the morning. The main attractions were perfectly walkable from our hotel.
I recommend a delicious vegetarian restaurant in Mandalahof about 10 min from the cathedral called Makro 1. They have friendly staff and will give you tips where to walk around in the area.
In the evening we went to a ballet performance at the operahouse. The architecture is this building is stunning and if I wasn’t here with my family, I would definitely go on a date there!

  2. I used to live in Vienna for a year so i know the city really well. To be honest no matter where you’re going to, what attraction you’re visiting in this city everything will bring out the romantic side in you. The architecture, the history, knowing that Sissi one of the most generous and most beautiful queens of the Austro-Hungarian Empire used to live there, trust me everything will amaze you. I once stayed at the Radisson Blu Style Hotel near St. Stephen’s Cathedral, the rooms were comfy, we had a king size bed and I felt like a princess because the staff were all the way super nice to us. To me however the most romantic spot was to go to a local heuriger (very local restaurant, sometimes B&B) where they served sauerkraut with the best schnitzel in the world!!!

  3. Vienna really is one of the most romantic cities in the world, how can you not love it? My husband and I splurged for a weekend away in the city and stayed at Le Meridien. Its central location made exploring the city easy, as we would often could come back and refresh (especially after eating a ton of sweet desserts at Cafe Sacher only a 5 minute walk from the hotel) before going out at night. The hotel’s concierge recommended Naschmarkt (which ended up being my favourite area to explore!), but we also loved ending our trip at hotel’s intimate Moet Champagne Bar just celebrating the two of us.
